SHARED GRIEF JOURNAL
ABOUT
Shared Grief Journal is a place to connect authentically through the act of writing. My hope is that by sharing our experiences of loss in written form and bearing witness to the stories of others, we will create a sense of community and understanding. Through this shared process, I believe we will feel less isolated in our grief, gain a deeper sense of connection and help each other heal.

ABOUT CHANEL BRENNER
After my son died in 2011, writing became my lifeline. It helped me process my pain, honor my son, and stay connected to him. What began as raw expressions of loss eventually grew into published works to support others who are navigating loss.
In addition to the Shared Grief Journal project, I write poems, essays, and books, and offer Writing Through Child Loss and Writing Through Grief workshops, which provide safe space for grieving parents and others to heal through the power of writing and community.
